What started with a 3D printer and an idea has grown into seven years of designing and making silicone molds for creators and businesses around the world.
I founded Zapp3D Design with a simple goal: make better molds.
Today, we're a small, family-run business focused exclusively on silicone molds. Every mold is made by hand here in the USA—from pouring and finishing to trimming, inspecting, and packaging.
More than 75,000 molds sold and 10,000+ five-star reviews later, we're still designing, improving, and making every mold with the same hands-on approach.
And that's not changing.

A Family Business
Zapp3D may have started as my idea, but I haven't built it alone.
My mom, Nancy, has been by my side throughout the journey—helping with ideas, social media, and especially shipping.
If you've ordered a Zapp3D mold, there's a good chance she packed it. She takes pride in making sure every mold is carefully inspected, protected, and packed securely for its trip to you.
Even as we've grown, we're still a family business directly involved in every order that leaves our shop.
Meet the Maker
I'm Ryan, the founder and mold maker behind Zapp3D Design.
I've always enjoyed taking an idea, figuring out how to build it, and turning it into something real. Seven years into mold making, that's still what I love most about what I do.
Outside the shop, you'll usually find me running or cooking for my family. I'm currently training for my seventh marathon, following in the footsteps of my dad, who has completed an incredible 125.
Whether I'm designing, running, or cooking, I enjoy the process of learning, improving, and getting a little better every time.
