Why Epoxy Resin Warps Silicone Molds: Heat, Shrinkage & Suckback Explained
TL;DR
Your mold might not be the problem. Large resin pours generate heat as they cure, then contract as they cool. That shrinkage can pull flexible silicone mold walls inward—often called “suckback.” The bigger the pour, the more important it is to use the right epoxy for the size and depth of your project.
